So no one answered the question, I gotta figure the answer is no. As folks slam their cars to the ground, they should not forget to consider the steering tie rods are now running out of intended range of motion and thus ride motion up and down will pull the steering arms in and out...(bump steer) so raise the rack with a spacer...there is enough thread on the rack bolts to handle .5 inch. Car will work a lot better....
