i bought springs for my 2005 cobalt 2.2l....now im try to find struts and shocks but having no luck....now my question is..is anyone lowered on stock struts and shocks and if so how is it?

 

Stock struts are actually pretty good on the Cobalt. Koni makes a REALLY nice set for the cobalt.

 

Aaron, how hard is it to install the front Koni inserts?

To the OP, Yeah you can lower on stock struts, heck i have it done... so i mean its not bad to do it.. i say go for it... plus you can always put on struts and shocks after make your car lower not a 4x4

 

I lowered mine on stock suspension like 30k miles ago

Still works good, she handles like a go-kart
