And yes after the spring install, you will need an alignment...it doesn't need to be the instantly after you install but you should probably make some time in the near future to do so.

as far as the roll bars, the rear sway bar is supposed to be like a 15min. bolt on job...the front swaybar I have heard is a little bit more work but not exactly sure what is needed to install it with these cars.
on my cobalt i didnt need an alignment on my sportline drop

I don't care what anyone says, when u get springs or any kind of signifigant suspension mod, an allignment is a MUST.

yeah i don't see how you can say you don't need an alignment...when I installed my springs, my toe was pretty out of wack. Camber not so much but toe was the biggest change.

also its only natural that the ride is more bumpy...the stiffer the springs, the more of the road you are going to feel. Sprint springs are pretty soft when it comes to spring rates so I could only imagine what the Sportlines are like. Whether you feel em or not really depends on where u live...out in AZ everything is pretty flat and all the roads are relatively smooth so you can live with a stiffer spring. I wish they had Sportlines for the Ion, I'd pick em up.

AZ is the best place for a really really low car. Everything is so flat, its almost not even funny..

I see a ton of camaros with True Dual exhaust, and if anybody is every seen what they look like on the bottom of a camaro, they would know what im talking about...

ok ill admit i may have sounded a little harsh, but when u look at the car, there doesnt seem to be any major changes in angles in the alignment, ill take it to my auto shop class to see if it really did have any changes, but if there was, it was very tiny.

Im debating on weather or not to get the sportlines or the pro kit. I want an 18 inch wheel but i can't decide if the pro kit will be a big eough drop. And also what struts are recommended if i get the sportlines? From the sounds of it I can't get anything really great strut wise if I buy the sportlines.

lemmie piggyback on this tread, i plan on lowering my car with eibach springs (sportlines or pro kit) i also plan on getting 18" wheels with 215/40 tires, i want something that will fill up the wheel well, but not be too low, if i get sportlines about how much ground clearance will i have, and about how much lower will it be than the pro kit? i am sort of concerned about ride comfort as well, i dont want a super stiff ride. which would be the better spring? and whats the diff between adjustable and non adjustable?

Maybe the sportlines are bumpy on a N/A cobalt. YOu are lowering your car over 2 inches on the stock shocks. On the SS you are only lowering 1 inch in the front and 1.3 in the rear on the stock shocks. They shouldn't feel THAT much more bumpier on the car than the stock springs.
