i want to lower my cobalt ss/sc an inch or so. the previous owner had already put koni shocks and struts on it but i wanted to know if lowering the car would cause the boots on the half shafts/cv axles to tear???

 

searching is your friend. the only issue you might run into is axle bind and maybe some bump steer.

 

If your only lowering an inch. You'll have no problems

 

what springs/coilovers are you looking at? i have koni yellow rears pedders springs and fe5 aka ss/tc fronts and im fine no axled bind or any problems

 

peddlers=4X4 lol jk but OP, what u have and what ur looking at might help peeps answer more efficiently
