Lowering kit question

Just wondering what all kinds of lowering spring kits you all have used. I have a base G5 with 15" rims so the wheel gap is pretty bad Would have loved to of upgraded to some 18s or 19s but thats wayyyy to expensive for me haha. So Ive been looking to get a lowering kit and wanted to know what you all recommend. Im a little shakey on getting the eibach sportlines just because I really dont want to have to break the bank and upgrade other suspensions parts just to use them. Just looking for a nice drop that will overall improve the look. Thanks for your help guys and gals.

What kind of drop are you looking for? Do you want a decent drop with pretty good handeling? Do you not car about ride quality?

For your car to look good on 15s, you need coils. Trust me, I have 15s

Yeah but if I could afford coils I would have just bought new rims and tires haha. Sadly can't do either :/ As far as drop goes I'm really up for anything. Just want to overall improve the look without having to break the bank to much. Obviously I would want as low as possible but I'm down for any kinds of suggestions anyone has.

Just keep on mind that if you slam it keeping the stock rims, the car will look like a train, the wheels will look too far inside into the fenders

He is saying it would look like a train.Meaning the wheels would be "sunk" in.In which they won't.

OP,Find some 17's on craigslist.I got mine for $200 and painted them the color I wanted.I.E.

The wheels of the trains are very far inside that you can barely see them comparing to the width of the train wagon. So it means that the wheels will be too much inside the fenders.

Could you post a pic with the wheels straight? Possibly not from far away

Won't getting wider tires fix that problem?

No it wouldn't.A lower offset wheel would take care of that

Oh. I've seen alot of people slammed on stock wheels and it didn't do that.
