lowering my ss/sc.

Alright so i've got a set of eibach sportlines for my 06 ss/sc. For some dam reason... I can't get the damn struts out to save my life. I dont know if i'm doing something wrong or what. I have lowered several vehicles and have never had a problem like this. This is my first time w/ struts, so maybe i'm overlooking something simple! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

bump?!?!?! I know someone out of the 14 people who viewed this has to know!!!

where exactly are you having problems? its 3 bolts up top. 2 on the strut, a sway bar bolt, and thats it. you are probably just missing something simple.

ok... well I was told to leave the 3 up top alone.. and use the one in the middle...that solves the main problem.. thanks... the sway bar bolt is spinning and wont come loose... i'll just have to find a way to clamp the other side or something... but that answers my question.. thanks a ton

you dont have to take the rear struts out. just the front. and its only like 8 bolts. if you cannot do it, you probably shouldnt be the one doing the install.

yea the rear is done already... that was no problem. But... someone told me to leave the top 3 bolts alone... now that I know that was wrong info... i can handle it. I'm actually about half way through the front right now... the rear only took about 20 minutes... I jacked it up... unbolted the rear shock on the bottom... that gave me some more room. Then I pulled out the old springs and popped in the new ones... after I sat it back down in the rear i was at first dissappointed because it sat the same.. then I released the e-brake and it dropped about 2 inches... now I feel better

update... finished... i'll post up some pics later. I'm sure everyone has seen a million of them.. but... you'll get some more anyway! It handles a ton better than it did stock... and looks 10x better. Thanks for all the help
