Lowering Question
#2
you're not going to slam it to the ground for a good price. springs alone won't do it. you need springs, new struts, and if you want to get real crazy an air ride system.

Progress springs are good for the price but i've heard the CA springs are a little bit lower.
But yeah for slamming that what you would need.

would i, personally? No. I scrape the **** out of the car at stock ride height. The bottom of my front lip looks like i took a sander to it. I don't personally care about looks at all, so that probably has a big thing to do with it. If i ever did drop the car, it's only because i wanted better suspension, and the lowering is just a result of that.
if i still had a 2.2, which rides crazy high, that may be a different story. but still, it would be for the better suspension not for the appearance aspect of it.

I live in Upper Michigan where is currently is snowing I got Variant KW1 coilovers on my car and i can adjust my ride height a lot. During the summer I'm riding low and during the Winter I'm riding high. A good set of coilovers is awesome because you get the performance and if you want to adjust height its all up to you. In my opinion I wouldn't slam is but lower it to a reasonable distance so that your not catching a bunch of bad stuff into your radiator.

Only way your gonna slam it is with Air bags or coil overs(air bags would probably be the better way)...... and both are gonna cost you. Sportlines give a good drop if you are looking for lower then H&R has some springs that are really low.. REPLACE YOUR STRUTS IF YOU DO!!! Get the Koni inserts (again.. gonna cost u a lil)

I bought probably some of the last sets of the goldline drop springs and am HIGHLY pleased, see if you can find some laying around somewhere, I literally haven't ever heard a bad thing about them. And it's a pretty good drop, I've got pictures in some other thread if you search.
