lowering springs

how low can i go before i would need a camber kit for the car i dont want to go too low in fear of the **** roads around here but also would it be wise to change the stuts and all before lowering it? the car only has 40k miles on it...

I have SSCs and my camber was almost spot on after lowering without camber kit or grinding struts. Caster was a bit off though.

Also, if it helps, I just lowered with 42k miles on stock struts and shocks.

With the balts front suspension the camber is more or less ok after lowering, the toe is the big issue. The toe curve is steep
