lowering the ss/tc
On zzp's website it says the ssc springs lower the car 1.5" front and 1.3" rear, but ssc's website says 1" front and 1.5" rear. Which is it? I'm asking because I plan on getting 245/40/18 this year but would I run into problems with these springs?

I didn't even read very far, but I disagree with the guy that said sportlines ride is terrible. I think it's perfectly fine. It's is a little bit more bouncy inside the car, but barely IMO, it's as if I feel more of the roads divots and slight decreases more, it wasn't even noticeable to my fiance who has me drive most of the time. Ride isn't terrible. Honestly if I wasn't looking (nit picking) for the differences between stock and sportlines, I wouldn't even notice.

i agree i had mine on for over 6 months and ride quality to be honest i dont think its too much worse than pedders are havent really gotten to test my pedders out to much tho waiting on hardcore rear sway and new tires first
I'm gonna go with SSC springs, OTTP street sway bar, and 235/40/18 Nexen N3000's. Is it the sway bar that makes your back wheels stay off the ground when your diagonal on a driveway? I've seen pics of david's tc like that. Never knew if it was the sway bar or not.
09sscalicobalt or anyone else that wants to chime in, (I am going to try and sum this thread up)- Alright..so you convinced me on the Enkei's
but now I am also looking at dropping the car, but I don't want to sacrifice how good the factory suspension is. So from all my research, I am gathering I should go with pedders springs as they are a tad better than stock springs? I havent done my research on the SSC springs. I don't want to do a huge drop, just to get rid of the 2" wheel gap in the rear. In fact, I think the front of the car looks fine... I just dont want to put crap springs on the car and have it ride worse than stock. I don't autox so coilovers are overkill. Are pedders the way to go or should I just leave it? I can afford the pedders and the install, I just dont want to pay $1500 and install for coilovers esp if I wont ever use them
thanks guys!
