For the past few months I have been having a high pitched squeaking/squealing sound coming from my brakes when making lower speed stops. Back when I first heard it, I took all of the wheels off and look at the pads and rotors. Everything looked fine, and there was pleny of material left on all four pads. So I just kind of ignored it thinking it was just from the colder weather. Now that spring is finally rolling around, and it's getting pretty warm out, I am still randomly getting the squeaking noise coming from the brakes on lower speed stops. It almost sounds like it is coming from the rears, but I haven't been able to actually pin point it for sure.

Since the pads seem fine and the rotors are not warped or gouged at all, I am not really for sure where to look next. Any suggestions on what to look at next?

Are your pads chamfered?

 

I have some of the same issues with mine and I have Wearever Gold from Advanced Auto Parts on them. I actually think one of my pads is rubbing (the passenger rear).

 

put some break lube on the back of the pads. May have dried out.

Also, they could be glazed...

 

I wonder if those are good prices then for the HAWKs they posted here.
