Monroe??

are the monroe structs and shocks any good on the SS SC??

i dont wanna get the GM stuff cause price is retarted and need input on monroe stuff thanks

I paid a little less than $400 for the SS/TC suspension stuff brand new. Personally I wouldn't go with Monroe, but if that's all you can afford then that's all you can afford but you're probably going to sacrifice performance for price.

SS/TC shocks and struts are $270 for the set at CED. That's not expensive if you ask me (coming from the Jeep world where 1 decent shock will cost you $60 and you need 4 of them and struts are more expensive than shocks...)

They are worse than the KYB GR-2's. If you using stock springs you could get away with either, but I personally think the stock SS/SC FE3 shocks and struts are the same or better.

If your going to be lowering you car, go with either the FE5 TC shocks/springs or Koni Yellow shocks/springs.

i have FE5 suspension at the moment dont know if thats better or worse the nFE3

You won't be able to tell much of a ride difference from what I've seen. They are able to support a drop better and apparently have better performance specs.
