Thumbs down My Sportlines are SQUEAKING!

It's been like this for a while now. Mostly on my driver side front spring is where I hear it. Especially when it's cold and also when I put a lot of load on my car when im driving in any of the lower gears. They seem to be working fine but I've just about HAD it with the squeaking I don't know what to do! ANNOYINGGGG... Anyone ever had this happen?! Any advice?! Please and thank you!

I doubt its your sportline springs sqeaking.. metal doesn't squeak very often (unless its a ford tie rod/ball joint).

More than likely, rubber isolators, control arm bushings, upper strut. etc etc..
Cold weather will make rubber/polyurethane squeak. You can go and lubricate everything and it should help

the spring isolators is where u will probably find your issue. reseat the isolators, then reseat the springs.

Its really not someone else's fault. It happens in the winter, things get cold.. cars don't like cold period... I'm sure if you were driving with your window down you'd probably hear a lot more than just an isolator squeaking..

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY TRUCK! It even got the nick name of CLANK, sounded terrible,
the coil kicked slightly out of place and made this noise that made people look at you when your driving down the road like readjusted it and took care of the problem

personally, I'd live with the sound.

but if your really concerned, silicone lubricate should work.. but once you do it once, your gonna have to keep doing it. because dirt and debris will stick to it pretty easy now

Good point. But if you heard the sound.. You'd end up killing yourself if you didnt do something about it.
