Need Advice

I have a 2005 SS S/C with 105,000 miles and all original suspension parts. Everytime I hit a bump it feels like the car is going to split in half the suspension is so bad. What do I need to do and how much money will this cost to get everything done? I'm looking to keep the stock ride height and the car is pretty much stock. I saw Crate Engine Depot wants $320 shipped for both struts and rear shocks but what else do I need? I'm going to take the car somewhere and have the work done and I know I'll have to pay for an alignment as well.

you're gonna end up with a 1000+ bill if you take it somewhere. it's fairly simple work.
in addition to shocks/struts with that many miles you're prob lookin at tie rod ends...pretty much ALL bushings should be replaced(sway bar, control arm, etc). sounds like you may have "the clunk" as well.
it's in the stearing column...there's a service bulletin out on it.
better safe than sorry with these kinds of things...if it's cheap...replace it.

Thanks for the info. I shouldn't have said everything is original I did shake down the front end 10k miles ago and ended up replacing the stab links with the Moogs so that helped my steering slop. Don't really have the clunk the steering column was replaced when the power steering went out about 60k miles ago - just got a recall for this in the mail last week. As far as parts for the suspension do I need to replace the upper strut mounts too?

I doubt it but it's a $25 part so for me that would be a 'better safe than sorry' thing that I would replace if I had any doubts.
