need help from a bagged balt

without giving away too much of my balts makeover i need to know from somone with a balt on airbags.... how did u cut/grind down the rear bottem nipples so the bags sit flat.... i cut it with a cutoff wheel and need to grind it flat now somehow

You should be able to grind it smooth with your cutoff wheel. You could cut a nice round disk from 1/8'" flat steel (from the Ace hardware) and put in the spring pocket so you have a smooth surface for the airbag to sit on.
I saw a S10 (I think) at the Milwaukee car show on Saturday. It was on airbags and was sitting on the rocker panels! You going that low?
