Question Need some recomendations

I just took my 06 LS in today to get an alignment done because I installed the new Megan Racing coilovers(awesome btw) and some 17" rims and tires. Anyway, they told me that I had a bad ball joint and lower control arm, where could I go to find some upgraded parts? I figure i may as well get better than stock stuff since i'm already upgrading other things.

Shouldn't you get the alignment done after you install the new stuff?

A bad ball joint already? How many miles has your Cobalt got on it? Our '01 Blazer has ~57,000 miles on it and one of the front ball joints went out a few weeks back, the first one to do so.

The Lower Control Arms come complete.

FE5 arms are the way to go.

The Koni guys use them, the Time Attack car used them, the only "upgrade" is really to get the bushing swapped for Delrin(or similar) and pillow ball joint

If you search for builders of the Time Attack cars and the Grand Am Cup cars youll find out who offers them.

This isnt a mod recommended for street use though, they are VERY stiff, and transmit more nnoise/vibrations to the chassis. The pillow joint also arent really designed for the street either, as they would require a lot of maintenance.

Like I said FE5 LCAs are the way to go. It should only be like $300 to upgrade.(the "race" arms are more like $1000)
