Noob looking for clarification...

Hi all, I bought a wrecked 07 SS/SC a few days ago & am in the process of repairing it. Pics can be found here : https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/south-mountain-61/bought-wrecked-balt-phoenix-213901/

I have tried to pay my dues & research the matter myself, so I have read many threads, but am still not quite getting my brain wrapped around whether I can use my SC LCAs with the TC hubs.

If I understand correctly, the ball joints on the TC LCAs are approximately 1mm larger, so the SC LCA ball joints would be a little small for the TC hubs... Will it make a difference or since they are slotted can you just tighten the slack out & be ok? Is it really worth the upgrade for a dd, or should I just replace the one I need with a stock SC hub & be done with it?

Also, any suggestions of other upgrades that I can do while I'm putting it back together would be welcome - I have already ordered the OTTP Stage one axles and the Pedders/TC strut package.

Thanks in advance,
Matt
