take out strut after unbolting the 3 strut tower bolts on top and the 3 bolts on bottom.
spring compressor the springs.
take the top part off.
turn it upside down.
drill a hole 1/2" in the middle of the strut.
then measure and cut the other side. i used a pipe cutter for a perfect clean cut.
insert koni shock.
bolt it on the bottom w/ the hole you had.
put spring back on.
top back on
put it back in place.
and enjoy

I brought my koni's to a garage yesterday and they were only able to put the rear shocks because they said that i bought the front struts. They told me that the koni front strut that i have is a cartridge type and that it's "impossible". But from what i read, it's pretty easy to do. I'm half way there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i got mine all for 900 so toss in some sway bars and a strut bar (maybe) and i will have just as good if not better set up for the cost of a decent coilover system.

I paid 400 shipped for my konis. ( the fronts brand new cuz the kid b4 didnt know how to install them i think. and, the rears had 5K miles on them if that, still brand new looking) and 230 for my eibach springs. so for 630. you cant beat that

I'm probably going to go with ground control coilovers (because they have a stiffer spring rate), and sleeve those babies over the koni's. i had an identical setup on my old car, and it was amazing.
well i went and got my car aligned yesterday about i dropped it and i had one wheel only 1/16th of and inch out of line. But now that i have been riding on the konis and H&Rs for a couple days the ride has smoothed out a bit and it just making me happier and happier that i bought these.
i had them at full stiff when i was test driving them after i put them on so see if they move around etc. and the ride is nasty (on back country roads) but on a smooth track it would be perfect. but right now i have the front and a half turn from full soft and the rears are the way they came out of the box.
