OTTP Hardcore

In the spring Im looking to improve my handling without lowering my car...

Will I have alot better handling with the OTTP Hardcore Rear Bar and Eibach front with my otherwise stock FE3 suspension...

I know the Hardcore bar is serious but I have ESC to save me lol...

I have the stock LNF front bar and the OTTP street rear bar and it does make a noticeable difference. The rear of the car wants to follow the front more now making the car more neutral with less understeer.

I have the hardcore bar and you can tell its installed just by driving around town. I had it at a autox and if you arent careful you'll whip a 180 real quick. I'd say the hardcore bar is for people who autox or road course race, the street bar is for DD and everyone else. seriously.

Bigger front swaybar = Understeer
Bigger rear swaybar = Oversteer

The key is to find the sweet spot somewhere in the middle where the car is controllable but also agile, without too much of one or the other.

That's the setup I'm going with, but I'm keeping my FE3 bar on hand in case I have too much understeer with the bigger front bar.

This. there's a reason why they call it "Hardcore" and the other is called "Street". It's not marketing, it's about the results that it will provide and the propriety for each one's use.

I have the hardcore and you can immediately feel the difference in the rear of the car, it's more responsive and cuts alot harder into the corners.

yeah, I just see some "street" racers buying the hardcore bar then crashing their car on a clover leaf or some sweeping corner because they brake IN the corner...we dont ******* joke when we say its for real racing.

I do not think understeer will be an issue with the FE5 LNF front bar and the hardcore rear bar.

I agree. I can also say that when you install R100 slicks, you can be forgiven for thinking (as wel balanced and all that it is ) that just maybe, a tweensy eeny little more rear bar might be fun....like 1.50....but on street tires that would be sexiting....if not fatal and 10-4 on the lift and die mid corner

You'd be surprised what a "street racer" will do when they are coming in too hot into a corner if its a lnf, the word brembo on the brake can give a false sense of security as well

So what will happen if you have a set of CO with the hardcore bar? Will there be more oversteer or less in most cases when compared to stock suspension?

the moment you say co I assume = coil overs, it depends on what you got for spring and damping rates. it is not any longer stock suspension...so impossible to say for sure. Need data....

Yes, coilovers. I have 353 lbs front and 224 rears springs. 20 ways adjustable damping but I am not sure what specs there are. I do have a set of 420 lbs springs for the front as well. I am not too concerned with having perfectly dailed in. Neutral balance would be ideal for my DD with the hardcore bar. Any suggestions John?
Thanks.

I can vouch for mid corner lift = check your shorts with 1.25 and street tires lol.

I've said from get go, 1.25 for erious drivers only Great bars, I own both and no regrets thus far!
