Possible issue
First off, my suspension is in rough shape. My struts and control arm bushings are shot to hell and there's some other work I need to do on the car.
About a month ago, I slammed a big ol' pot hole. Blew a tire, got it replaced, whatever. For about a week following, as I accelerated from a stop, I could hear what sounded like a pulsating grinding noise that sped up as I did. After that week, I haven't really heard it.
Also, whenever I brake, my car will pull slightly to the left. It's fine when I'm driving, only does it when I'm stopping. It's not a serious pull, but enough to where I can feel the wheel trying to head left.
I just checked to see if it was a tie rod end or wheel bearing (jacked the car up, tried to shake the tire horizontally and vertically), but it passed the test. I figured it was probably a bad bearing, but it's not obviously messed up.
There's no vibrations when I'm driving, only horrible noises coming from the struts and control arm bushings.
Am I overlooking something here that could be wrong?
