probably easy question on coilovers

ok so i have arks dt-p coilovers. going to install them soon and had a couple questions. first, on the rears the shock and the spring have height adjustment. i am guessing they have to be adjusted the sane right? if so how do you make sure they are the same? second question, for the dampening selector which way do you turn it to be at its softest setting? clockwise or counter-clockwise? thanks for the help!

My guess would be you determine that the heights are the same during the alignment, but I am not positive of that since I have not installed mine yet.

The damper should have a +/- indication. Its counter clockwise for softer on mine

Normally counterclockwise is softer and clockwise is harder. To make both sides the same height you would start by making sure that both sides have the preload adjuster the same number of turns in. You can adjust from there if necessary.

you could also pre-set each coilover ride height adjustment off the car by using a tape measure to measure up where you want collars will be. then when its on the car you can fine tune everything
