Exclamation problem with sstc breaks

A couple weeks ago my steering wheel started to shake while i was breaking. I figured i needed new rotors. I checked today and what i found was a plate sticking out of the caliper. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thanks

Looks like the backing plate fell of the pad, that would be warranty if your dealer is worth anything.... Just change the pads if not you'll be fine.

That doesn't look like the stock backing plate. Just take the wheel off, pull the pad, and take the backing plate off. You can run without it. What brand pads are you running?
