Progress or Sportlines?
Progress or Sportlines?
Hey guys just wondering what you suggest for springs on the basis of:
1. Ride Quality
2. Handling
3. Looks
Ride quality is the most important to me as long as its close to stock.
Also how many miles have you guys gone on stock struts?
I would really like B+G coilovers but 1200 is very pricey and I dont have the money right now.

hey man, i know this isn' the answer you were looking for, but it'd benefit you to search, because i've seen this topic a couple times.
IMO i'd try to hook up with someone that has already put on sportlines, or progress's and take a ride, or if you're lucky test drive it. that'd give you the best answer by far.

Well, i've never had Progress springs on my car, i've only had Sportlines on it.........so unless you can find someone who has actually had both sets of springs on their car.......lol.
I think both are good. I have Sportlines, but I know Progress is a top notch brand too.

I just put Progress springs on my 2.2 about a month ago. The ride quality feels a lot smoother on highways and feels stock on the streets. Things like speed bumps are really bouncing though. I also noticed a huge improvement in handling but that probably because I have a 2.2.
I've had both...Progress on my last SS/SC, and Sportlines on this on. The Eibach's are better all around other than price, but you get what you pay for. The color is better (red>teal/aqua green), the drop is the same (as far as I can tell) but the ride quality is way better with the Sportlines. The Progress springs used to give out and bottom out when I had people in the back seat, the Sportlines hold up well, even with 5 people in the car and stuff in the trunk...
I voted Eibach. If you can afford it, you should do the same.
nice ride BTW, I like it!

H&R Race springs FTW!!!!
however the only thing i "don't" really "like" is that the rear sits a bit higher then the front. when i met WhiteSSBalt at the UofM meet my front was a bit lower and his back was a bit lower then mine. i wish i would if taken a picture.
