On the topic of crappy roads has anyone driven in snow with the pro kit? Does it make enough of a difference that the car drives worse in snow. I dont plan on driving in 6+ inches just the occasional getting stuck in a storm coming home or getting out of my driveway in the morning.

My buddy has an svt focus with the full pro kit (springs/shocks) and the only problem it had last winter was the front lip was plowing snow a bit, other than that there no diff.

Haha maybe someone can drop their car to the floor and plow some driveways with their front bumper!

If youve got an SS the ProKit is only going to give you about a 1/2" drop in the rear only.
Sportlines will lower the car front and back.

Yeah dude it seems like your local conditions are just horrible. Prokit or leave it stock. Don't even consider Sportlines.

I do not have any other suspension mods, yet. I am doing all of my additional work in the spring. I am due for tires and shocks/struts, so I'm using that as my excuse to get everything else as well.

I'm doing:

18" wheels (Enkei RS7)
New tires of course (haven't picked them yet)
New FE5 shocks, struts, control arms, front sway bar, links and mounts.
TTR rear bar

Next year I when the brakes come due I will replace those with SSBC's.

When you visit, feel free to send me a PM letting me know.
