Proper bleed/flush procedure for changing all four rotors/pads/brake lines?
Proper bleed/flush procedure for changing all four rotors/pads/brake lines?
Ok, I am getting ready to do a full brake job on all four corners on my car. I'll be replacing rotors, pads, and lines. When I do this, is it best to bleed the system after I replace each line, bleeding a total of four times?
Also, would it be a good idea to compress the pistons in the calipers with the bleeder open, before I replace the lines? Seems like that would evacuate some old fluid from the caliper, maybe save a couple of pumps of the brake pedal during the bleeding after install.
