strut stud snapped

ok so i was putting on some springs today and when i was putting the stock front strut back on one of the top 3 studs broke off. will i be able to just get a stud and replace the broken one or will i hav to get a whole new strut mount back? here's a diagram

same happen to me, but my dealer looked the other way when he seen the eibach and just used my warrenty and replace the plate that all 3 studs are a part of

hopefully something like that will happen to me. right now i just replaced the stud with a bolt and nut. it works fine but i just want to put the stock stud back on so its not all ghetto rigged

you can buy the top cap with those bolts welded on it its like 40 bucks i think, same thing happend to me and i Paid for it. but those bolts have a specific torque they need to be at and its not as tight as u can get them

i found the top cap off of gmpartsdirect.com for 60 plus shipping but i dont wanna pay that much when i only need one stud. im gonna go to the dealership whenever im not busy workin and see if they hav any studs they can sell me.

or just go there and say u were cleanin ur engine bay and seen the stud broke off..hahaha

hahaha...me and my friends were sayin that i should go to the dealership and act like i just noticed the stud was broken and blame it on one of the mechanics and say he put a bolt in there instead of another stud lol.

happened to me and i just hammered out the broken one and put in a new one. used...what is that grade 8 stud and a washer and a nut. tightened it pretty tight. been going strong for about 3-4 months now And I replaced 2

yea you cant just replace one stud unless you put a nut in since they are welded to that cap. I was able to get my cap at dealers cost.
