quality ride

Im looking for some advise and im really new to suspension set ups.
I have an 07 cobalt ss/sc
I have really been thinking about doing a coil over set up.

but what i would like to see is

close to stock ride height (bad driveway)
a smoother ride
and maintain some cornering capabilities just for spirited driving

Im only considering this because one of my struts is leaking, i already have a rear sway bar and front strut brace

this will probably drop you too low, but the springs that everyone swears by are the eibach sportlines.

SSC springs are a way smoother ride then Eibach Sportlines. They give a nice drop and ride damn near stock while improving corning abilities.

to be honest the ride quality of the sportlines is not that great. its actually bumpier. ive only had mine in for a couple days and i havent gotten an alignment yet either so maybe after that and i let them settle, i will see what all the hype is about.

the eibachs arnt that bad but the rear end is very light so that plays a big roll into how the ride is effected. i went from them to B&G coilovers its very still but it handles like a gocart.

X2... I put SSC springs on my 08 and couldn't really tell any difference in the ride. They also ended up dropping the car lower than the specs said it would.... only a 1.25 front and 1.5 rear gap...

You probably wont get a smoother ride with coilovers.
