Question about brakes on an LT?

Im looking to change my brakes out, not like right now but they are on their way out, and i just wanted to know what is the best bang for your buck, i see so many different kinds of choices for the fronts.....like slotted , drilled , slotted and drilled? what is the best way to go for a daily driver? and are the rears just drums? should you just buy new drums or get them turned?

just trying to get the best bang for your buck? and where can you get them the cheapest? i have check ebay, and AC delco, and on the site for supporting vendors....anyone know a vendor that is reliable?

anything will help!

thanks!

best bang for the buck is gonna be Hawk pads, fresh high quality fluid and clean and adjust rear brakes(unless they need to be replaced, which is unlikely) Youre looking at like $100 max if you do the work yourself and the difference will be worth every penny.

If you can swing another $110 buy yourself some Goodridge brakes hoses.

If you need new rotors Id recommend Brembos as the best, but Powerslots ands EBCs also get good reviews if you want to save a few dollars or refuse to run blank rotors for some reason.

Replace the pads, have your drums cleaned and adjusted, flush your brake fluid, yup.

Only replace your rotors if they are out of serviceable spec.

Have them mic'd(use a micrometer to check width, acuracy in .001in) they have a spec etched into them somewhere how thick they have to be to be safe.
