Question about Canuck Motorsports Lowering Springs?
I drive a 09 Chevy Cobalt SS/TC. I'm thinking CM sent me the wrong springs, after doing a drop. I have three coils in the back coil binding. Need photos to upload. I was sent this part #21-3011, instead it should have been 21-3021 when I looked up SSC website with the actual part #. Should I be worried? The front is suppose to drop 2", but looks 1.5 " drop. I can put 2 fingers up front, I haven't notice any coil binding. The rear is suppose to be 1.5 inch, which looks right, but three coil touching (closer ones) each other. Anyone with CM or SSC have experience this? Thanks. When I drive, its straight arrow. I hear little clunking in the back when go over speed bumps. On ZZP website I see #'s ending 3011, which the same I got written on CM box. I might be freaking out over nothing. Here are the photos before I put them on.

Your freaking out over nothing. Wait for them to settle, and they will get lower. Also all aftermarket springs bind in the rear, you can even get pedders to bind if you drive it hard enough.
They only make one type of spring for our car. If it fits correctly, it's the right one. The springs will settle over time. That drop looks correct to me, that's pretty much exactly how mine look.
damn, thats a clean car and drop. How do they ride? Im leaning towards these... Sportlines arent bad (ive road in a car w/ one, dblboosts car actually), and my buddy will put H&Rs soon...

thanks. they ride close to stock, its not all bouncy. you'll hear some clunking when you hit speed bumps, but it doesn't really bother me. they corner pretty nice. soon as I let these settle, I'm gonna get a wheel alignment done. I'm just glad I didn't get the H&R's because they are too low for me, I thought about Teins, but they have a softer rate spring, and Pedders are a bit expensive, but have a nice decent drop and handling.
These are much better than Megans, H&R is lower than these so it depends on the drop you want. This is a good and comfortable drop, while H&R can be a bit rougher. Thats what happens when you go lower though.
Yep i had the.ssc springs i had thay same height so i grinded them down a little. One coil in the.front and i welded the coil i cut to thr coil next to it. And same with back.

They will not bind.
Yes I know, I never said they were designed to, just that if they were pushed hard enough you can even get Pedders to bind.
