question about ss springs to ls?

ok, i heard that if you put ss springs on an ls, it just lowers the rear .5 inches right? and it doesnt lower the front at all? so is there anything wrong with just getting the rear ss springs and installing them? i have a friend that works at a dealership and gets me stuff at a discount. how much do you think they would run?

i dont want to get any other springs, i havea problem going over bumps already, and i just figure anything helps.

you can buy new lowering springscheeper then buying ss/sc springs. will probably make your car handle better but IMO its not worth it. go buy some SSC springs which are like 150$ and it will improve looks and handle like a race car!. So far no complaints on SSC Springs
