R1 Concepts = RESOLVED

So to recap what I ordered...R1 Concepts E-Line slotted rotors, Hawk HPS pads, cast iron drums and R1 Concepts rear shoes.

UPDATE:

Got the parts Tuesday afternoon. My wife calls me at work and tells me the box is on the dinner table. I get home and open the box...to my surprise everything is there...EXCEPT THE PADS. Of course I had a track day today...so I call R1 Concepts only to find out that the HPS pads are on a one-week dropship.

So I would like to formally thank whoever was supposed to call me, but didnt, to tell me that the pads arent gonna be included...that way I could've made arrangements for other pads.

As far as the parts go...got everything installed today before my runs (stripped out a caliper bracket...had to replace that). Went down to Kragen and got some Wagner Thermo Quiet pads. Everything works really well and I LOVE look of the slotted rotors...they accent my wheels quite well.

Great complaint, but where is the link to the original post? Meaningless post without the original.

I have Thermoquiets on my rear brakes for the TC. They are ceramic and work very well. However, I wouldn't use em on the track. Even if you have semi metallic Thermoquiets, HPS would prolly work better on repeated braking.

Seems to me they went out of their way and are paying to ship twice rather than holding everything until the pads came in. Be happy, therer are other vendors who wouldn't have shipped anythiing.

No a company should inform you of stuff like that. That is a fail on their part. All I know is that if I were in charge over there I'd be on someones ass for that. It's the little things like that that show customers you truly care.

I think I'd be pretty upset but I don't think I would be create-a-thread-upset. You know? I think they are doing a good thing by sending you all your stuff as soon as it's ready though. Can't be mad for that.

Deffinately wouldn't have created a thread for it. Too much vendor bashing going on these days.

Yea, I'll agree with you on that one. People get to **** over little slip ups. (Not you OP, just in general)

The situation has been taken care of. I contacted them and told them to just cancel the Hawk Pads and issue a refund. I went down to the Kragen and got some Wagner Thermo-Quiets.
