Raceland Coilovers in our future?
Raceland Coilovers in our future?
I was wondering if anybody on here has contacted Raceland to see if they could make coilovers for our cars, seeing as they are the most affordably priced coilover on the market. If nobody has i think maybe we should get a group together and maybe with a good amount of requests they will cater to us! i love the idea of coilovers for under $400
........ yeyyy even crappier coilovers.. why would you want them? at least for ions we dont have many easy options.. but up and spend the 700 on some megans if you want something that willi get you lower without spending a bunch a couple of my friends had them on their vws and though they insisted they road decently my back hurt every time I was in their cars and it was lowered more then 2 inches
The day raceland makes coilovers for our car, will be the day my car gets a for sale sign on the window.
I had them for 1 week on my old MK3 Golf, and i hated them. They are cheap as heck. You get what you pay for.

yeah racelands are complete junk. the only thing they are good for is stance. keep in mind most people hear the word coilover and think they are absolutely amazing because they paid a grand for um..... doesnt mean they are actually good.
I dont mean to annoy here, But this could honestly be another one of those times, when people that dont have something criticize it because its inexpensive. people that have raceland coilovers even on BMW M3's are happy with them, i have never heard anything bad about them aside from a rough ride, but every lowering spring has a rough ride, what do you expect especially on coilovers.
Ive rode in many cars with racelands. If you hit one bump you are bouncing for miles down the road. The handling feels like a lifted 4x4. Ive rode in a few that each dip the spring comes unseated and bangs, granted that was probably the installers error. I feel cheaping out on suspension and brakes are two major parts you dont do.
yea they dont ride ok least not when the're lowered like we'd want them to be .. if you slightly lower it it's not to bad but theres no point in that .. racelands are the same thing as buying sleeve overs lol thats it however the perch is mounted .. it just looks a bit cleaner

I guess this was abandoned.. lol. I have a friend with an 08 tiburon that has them and his car is slammed. still can go lower. they ride like any other coilovers. and the shocks are still good on his after more than a year. if you want low theyare perfrct imo, ill see if the discussion can open up again haha
