GM techs said they didnt know what to do about it and springs with progressive rate springs are notorious for this and they dont know what to do. What can I do about this? When I turn left and then turn it back it goes pop when I go left and then another pop when I go back , WTF????? please help!

ITS ONLY ON THE DRIVERS SIDE

It sounds like a problem with upper spring plate/bearing assembly.

The plate should be installed with the "tab" pointing IN toward engine bay. The bearing(white/yellow plastic disc) should be on top of that, and centered by the lip of the plate.

If the bearing is missing or damaged or improperly istalled youll get this issue, same if theres anything wrong with the upper seat.

The car comes with progressive springs stock so thats just your techs trying to BS about the springs.

Yup. I would make sure the strut bearing is greased properly. That is likely the problem. I need to remember to re-grease mine when I re-install my lowering springs.
