Rear Brake Shield

I guess it is called the the rear brake rotor shield or the brake dust shield. However, did anyone remove the shield when installing drilled/slotted rotors on your SS for the rear? Thanks.

no. why? the shield acts as a spacer for the assembly caution advised if you wish to remove it for whatever reason, no reason is good the biggest problem at the rear is not enough heat in normal brake use...

copy that good buddy. normally folks take heat shields off the front brakes to let more air in but its not an issue with the LSJ they dont have one
