I've got the base model shocks, i'm going to have to rock them until they come out with aftermarket shocks that i can afford, looks like my ride is going to get a bit bouncy after about 3 months of sportlines

Anytime you lower a car more than 1/4" you will be stressing the stock shocks/struts.

Just wait and do it right the first time.

you wouldn't gain much by getting the SS/SC shocks and struts, only differance is your shocks would be gas pressurized instead.

these shocks will last a little longer, and are stiffer, but they will still fail prematurelly.

it's the people with the 2.2L that would benifet the most from the SS/SC shocks and struts

for your SS, your better off saveing your money for aftermarket.

just get the springs, there will be something out before they fail, unless you do a lot of track raceing, then hold off.

I doubt my 2.2 stockers will last long before they die. RIP Struts!

This is my reasoning for using stock struts

yah but you have an SS so your stock equipment is much better then the 2.2L who's current eqiupment will not withstand the added starins over long period of time. just as HackAuse is now see the effects.

now sportlines on the SS/SC shock and strut, may never need other struts, but the ride quality & Performance could be greatly improved with an aftermarket shock & strut.

You might have to go through the dealership. They also might run you a couple hundred each

the only problem with buying SS/SC struts is that they cost about as much as an aftermarket strut would...not worth it with that factor added in.

I chose "don't do anything" because I am patiently waiting on Koni.
