Simple shock question

I have lsj and need new shocks so was gonna get them from CED but I thought the lnf and lsj would be the same part number? Is the fitment different?

lsj
Cobalt FE5 Rear Shock 2005 - 2007 22728821

lnf
Cobalt FE5 Rear Shock 2008+ 25793745

I believe the LNF suspension is stiffer. Not sure about the shocks.

Fitment is same so go with LNF shocks i'd say.

I know the LNF came with better suspension but why even sell two different kinds if they are the same size and one is better? I def want the better one

Some people just like options. Guess there are people that want softer options.

Also, if they have leftover stock, why not sell it?

the LNF has different and better damping rates. Fit is identical. Why do they sell both? Walmart doesnt run GM parts.
