I have my balt stored for the winter and have been driving a 2002 Grand Am GT (FUN CAR) But will be bringing the cobalt back out once it warms up. I've had Tenzo's on it for since June or July of 07 and i'm thinkin that it would be a good idea to get some shocks and struts soon. My question is, has anything other than the Koni ones come out yet? I'm looking for more of a cheaper replacement that those.

 

Hey pat, I put brand new SS/SC struts and shocks on mine. Big difference.

I work at O'Regans, so I got a pretty good deal. I think the retail is $150 a strut and $120 a shock. So $540. You could get Konis from TTR for $688.00 + shipping:

FE5 setup(the struts and shocks) will run you 380. CED has the struts for 90 a piece and the rears for 50 a piece.

Monroe has parts listed for us... but i have yet to find anyone who actually has them in.. my guess they should be out by the end of Feb. The Fronts are supposed to run about 120 a piece and the rears around 50 also. So depending on how soon you are looking to get them you may have 2 other choices from Koni
