some questions before i buy coilovers

im buying some coilovers soon, and i just have a few questions before i buy

what do i do for alignments? i know noone around here will do a alignment for me with my car being that low, due to them messing up the front bumper on the rack

would puting on sway bars help the roll, or is it a waste of money?

any input appreciated

Putting sway bars will help just a little bit more than the coilovers will. It also depends on how you tune your coilovers. I know most coilovers are adjustable, and if you tune them on the harder side, you're car isn't going to roll as much but will still roll, and a sway bar will help that a little bit. It's all in your adjustments really. Also depends on what you're going to do with the car. IMO coilovers are more than enough for regular street abuse, but if you're going to be doing auto-x with them, then I'd advise getting sway bars to help your handling as much as possible. That's just MO, though. Others could feel differently. And if I were you, I'd DEFINATELY find someone to do an alignment for you, even if you have to travel outside your area to do it. You will be changing so much by going to coilovers, if you don't align it, you will eat through tires fairly quickly.

yeah, I'd wait on the sway bars then. As for the coilovers, I'd get them but wait until spring to put them on. That's what I would do

tbh man, I really don't know. I don't have them on mine yet. Mine won't be ordered until summer of next year when I get back from Iraq and start back into my auto-x. I'm sure someone else on this site can offer some input.
