Exactly. It's supposed to be like that. But struts would be nice either way.

coils are supposed to touch. engineered that way that is how you get the drop and also the spring is able to stay in place when lifting the car or catching suspension extension off a bump (as if you were going to catch air....LOL). Struts will help with dampening that is it. wait for some adjustable dampeners is the best thing to do IMO.

the word sportline up or down was of no concern of mine. where the coils come together was though. IMO the coils that touch should be on the top so you dont have a pocket to collect dirt. after a few years it could get messy and rusty.

The question I have for you is were there instructions to cut bump stops and what did it say? I did not get this info. If you can send a document to me that would be super! send to wandj@mts.net and thanks

it told you in the directions what way to install the springs... "Sportline springs should be installed with the Eibach logo right side up"--- take from the directions

Yeah the sportline logo is rightside up. Make sure they don't get installed upside down. I think someone in here did that by accident.

Edit. Silverbalt beat me to it.

My springs were used. no instructions The coils bind at the top in the rear and the front go in only one way I believe.

my bump stops are not cut either. I dont think I bottom in the rear. but I could be wrong. takes a really good hit to bottom though.
