Sportlines causing issues?

Anybody ever have their lowering springs cause issues with other suspension or drivetrain components. My dealer is recommending I put my stock springs back on to see if we can pinpoint a grinding/fluttering sound coming from my front drivers side wheel area. They are saying that the suspension geometry is changed (i know) and is causing undue stress possibly on the drive axle or cv boots, causing this noise. I'd hate to put my stock springs back on and lose that great look.

Any input?

i had the same problem. my front right is making a weird noise, not so much a grinding noise, but a rubbing noise. I am thinking about going back to stock height, but I hate the looks of it. plus its a bunch of work.

Will you still have this issue if you used Koni Yellows with the lowering springs?

my cars been dropped for about 8 months...

the dealer never said nothing about wheel bearings and they claim to have checked everything...

but they can't say for sure about the axle or cv's until I go back with my stock springs on...

eibach's been on the block for a long time,so there products arent made cheaply like there competators,so i doubt it has anything to do with the springs.

How do I check my own wheel bearings?

I don't think it's the actually springs...but something they are adding stress to. Like the angle change to the front drive axles or cv boots?

arnt there some tabs that some people werent lining up when installing the eibach springs? Those tabs need to be lined up and the noise will go away from what i read.

Yep, check that, if the tab on the top hat of the strut is not pointing in toward the engine compartment you'll get funky noises.
