Sportlines with stock struts?

ok well im about to lower my car and im looking at getting sportlines...ive searched about it and i didnt really see how long before the stock struts get wore out...any suggestions?

its not so much the stock struts as it is ur CV joints. ur cv joints are set level at a certain height so when u lower it, its now on an angle, and it wears quicker.

Your struts will be fine for a while. The 2.0 suspension seems to hold up longer than the 2.2 suspension after lowering anyways.

ya thats what i was planning on doing....but i am wondering how soon i am gonna have to change my struts

i had sportlines on the balt for about 15,000miles, no problem with struts, but i did avoid holes.

I had sportlines with stock struts for about 2 years before I traded my Balt in, never had a problem.

i've had mine on for over 14,500 miles and no signs of wear on my shocks and struts and i've hit some big potholes. I'm very impressed.

Ive had both the Progress springs, and the Eibachs. The Sportlines are far better in every category other than price, but you get what you pay for. The ride is better, they hold up well (no pogo effect), they look better (red>teal), and the instructions are a little better.
