Spring settling question

Is it possible for my passenger side wheel gap to be about 1/2 inch higher than my passenger side after having springs in for 2 days? Note No passengers have rode in my car yet.

That's probably why. My mechanic told me that whenever you get new springs and don't have a passenger, put some weights on that side so it settles evenly. He said to do this for a couple of months or so. Might want to start doing that now.

What, why? Makes sense to me, I've seen it happen to a couple of people he's installed springs for.

I don't see how 150-200lbs of weight that is or isn't in the passenger seat is gonna solve a 1/2 inch gap.

After thinking about it, I think I may have installed my passenger side spring like this

but not that far off.

Looks like I have to take this strut out again... GRRR
