springs question

springs question

is it possible to put the springs on without the spring compressor? I know you can borrow one from autozone but i dont feel like going after it

i dont know if its possible, i do know it is very very unsafe to remove them out without it. and make-shift ones might work but usually end up in someone getting seriously hurt. Take the time to go get it i'm sure it will save you time in the long run

If you have to ask then you really don't want to be trying this without the compressor - the springs carry a lot of energy when they are compressed and can maim / kill if not controlled.

Without the right tools it is a 2 person job, and you had better trust the person running the jack if you value your fingers
