ss/tc oem shock compatibility

ss/tc oem shock compatibility
It is time to replace my shock on my 2007 ss/sc my rear blew out. From what I read the ss/tc are better then ones found on the ss/sc. Any thoughts? OEM shocks ss/tc vs ss/sc. And also can the ss/tc shocks fit on an ss/sc with no mod needed?
