SS/TC Struts + Eibach Pro-Kit ?

Hey I am just wondering if anyone has experience with or would just know if the SS/TC struts and Eibach Pro-Kit springs would be a good match..?

I also want to ask you guys if you think steering rack spacer's would be necessary for the Pro-Kit???..the drops not too much at all esp. in the front.

pro kit is not suppose to drop it at all. just stiffen the ride.

the prokit stiffens the ride. therefore bouncing more.

sportlines lowered it. but kept ride comfortability with the tc struts. but handles well.

this was suggested to me by people on here for a long time. and im glad i listened

I have the Pro-Kit on my SS, 0" drop up front and about 0.5" drop in the rear. I also use Koni shocks in the rear and Koni cartridges up front. The ride isn't bouncy, it's quite nice - firm but nice.

I'm using the Pro-Kit to avoid excessive drop, I autocross the car and my slicks stick outside the fender-line -- the last thing I need is to have dropped car cut big slices out of the tires.

i went through canyons 2 nights ago to really try out my suspension.

and im not lying. i have 3 other people that coun vouche.

speed limit is 45-55 through the whole canyon. i touched 110 going through some corners.

took a side road and hit a left turn that said 35 (it MEANS 35) i touched 68 going around the corner.

man it handles sooo good.

i am the eibach tc test car... they used my car for both kits.. and told me. the prokit did nothing to it...

the sportlines did lower the car, and it feels just like stock yet it lets you corner way harder..

There's so much mis information in this thread its awful. Pro kit springs DO not make your car bouncy, if you want to see bouncy try some aftermarket cheapo coil overs. Afaik Eibach hasnt released updated springs for the TC Yes the current springs fit but I believe they are making new TC specific springs to be better suited for the TC's stiffer shocks and struts. Until they come up those the best option currently are the Pedders springs Maven has been raven about them and qwik was going on about his awesome rouge springs last time I talked with him. The drop is somewhere inbetween the pro kit and the sportlines.

yeah no the pro-kit deff didn't make my car bouncy, it's just a small drop (which is much stiffer) or what I would call a leveling kit for the cobalt, but good info on the TC>KONI, I just hope they last long, and that's cool that eibach's making new springs for the TC shocks cuz I'll deff switch over I wouldn't mind going a little lower.

look around and search the site. ud find out that eibach has NO intention of making tc springs now. our SS TC Sedan just test fitted them. Eibach said they are going to use the SS/SC springs for the TC. because they fit perfect.

and the Pedder springs were tried on our SS/TC. they did noit fit. and they were attempted by Impulse Engineeering. A lot of bump stop cutting..

and H &R springs stiffen the ride and make it bouncy as well. so springs can stiffen the ride.

theres no issue so far with the TC struts yet from what i heard

ask HB SS/TC. they even started cutting his bump stops to try and make them fit.

must have got the wrong springs then. refer to qwiks Pedders thread. Maven has pics installed no bump stop cutting. Also rave reviews from the two most knowledgable suspension guys on here.
