★★★ STANCE Suspension - ULTIMATE REVIEW THREAD ★★★
Ok, update. I lowered all 4 down all the way and pulled a ring from each coil over. The rear dampers are at 4, the fronts 6...but I've been so far liking them at 5. but I've been going back and forth and not sure what I like the most.

As far as ride quality. I have a serious note to share. The installation instructions don't tell you the right way to instal the rear springs/shocks.
I think the mistake is we mess with the shock length thinking it helps to lower the car more. all it really does is make the car ride like ass. The ride is night and day different than it was out of the box. My girlfriend actually likes the car lowered now because it glides like stock again with just a very, very faint bounce. I hope this helps some folks who are complaining about the ride quality. And thanks to Stance Customer Service for helping me out and making their product shine it should now.

> set the springs into the lowering level you want.
> Put the springs in first
> Do not install the bump stop
> Then use a jack to pump up the hub to just where the spring is perched....but NOT compressed. (you can get away with just a hair)
> Next install the shock at only the length it takes to keep the spring in this perched, but not compressed position. (the shock doesn't determine the stance the spring adjustment does, so you don't need the shock to be rolled all the way down or up. The adjustment on the shock is only to help the shock fit the space)
> put the tire back on and enjoy the night and day difference in ride quality. The car now rides almost as smooth as stock. Very little hop, bounce or harshness. It's stiffer but not unbearable like it was before.

stucc between these the KW variants and Pedders, i want to track my car but honestly it will be more street with few track days i dnt want a crazy ass bounce in my ride like im sittin in a low rider, i like the way your car is sitting in the pictures and since we both have sedans i can go with stances and if u dont mind use that same setup for my car.
I'd say go with the stances and follow my instructions at the end of the post and you'll love them. I have no idea how well it rides for any track use, but I can say for daily driver use they will ride very smooth. Obviously they will differ from stock (little bounce, little stiffer), but the differences are very minimal. I have a wife and kids and with 4 of us riding along it glides down the highway. The kids never once woke up on a 2 hour car ride, the ride was so smooth...and the car was slammed as much as you see.

The wheels are XXR 527's. And the LED's are done very tastefully. They are black so when they are off you don't see them at all. The ugly as hell front end of the base model cars need something. Oddly as soon as i did this almost every kid in a base model with a fart can in my area has now done it. So my simple nice tastefully done ricer mod has now been ruined by real ricers.
But since the rest of the car looks clean, I think most people accept it on my car. It works, and looks much nicer in person.

Shoot, i say buy whatever wheel you like. Who cares if someone else has them ya know? It's bound to happen eventually anyway. When I bought them over a year ago it was me and one other guy on here
that had the 527's. Now tons of peeps have them, hey, they look good...i won't hate on anyone for it.

So i just installed gr+ coils over the weekend and the fronts are bouncy ive been trying to find out how to stiffen the front coils anfd im coming up with nothing so far can anyone help me?
To do this take off the rear tires and on the shocks on the back there is a little dial near the top. turn that click wheel all the way to the right. As you do it you will feel it click. That a damper level.
once you have it as far to the right as it go that is what is call "full stiff". From there dial it back slowly going left. feel each click until it clicks 8 times.
do this on the other side.
On the fronts, i can do this by turning the wheels all the the way in one direction. look up at the bottom of the coil over and you'll see...well for lack of a better description...what looks like "nipple" like knob at the very bottom of the strut.
Turn it clock wise as far as it will go. it too will click. Once turned as far as it goes. dial it counter-clock wise 8 clicks. Now you are in the Stance OEM recommended "break-in" settings.
It will take a while but they WILL smooth out and you can then find a sweet spot. For me it's been like 5 up front, and 4 or 5 in back. Sometimes 6 in back...but i always set my damper to 4 if i'm taking a trip with the kids in back to keep it from bottoming out and their weight keeps it from being bouncy.
Hope that helps.
Like my buddy I also had dreams of going low, I felt as if I met my intended power levels and decided to take a new outlook on my car. With Stance and fitment EXPLODING onto the car scene I decided to take a stab at it.

They are going to a bit bouncy to start with because you need to break them in. First thing you need to do is set the dampers on all 4 of them to "8".
