Steering Rack Spacers
Yes I looked through all 4 pages and didnt see a single reference to them, what are they for exactly and how do you install them, any pics?

both are cncd from the same grade aluminum, and if product b is supposedly a copy of product a and theyre made from the same material the same way would that make the final product of bot the same in the end? yes.
i'm saying it's easy to let someone else to the testing, design work, and engineering behind something, and then just copy their design. The OTT spacers are tailored to the amount of drop the car has, for a reason.
I'm not saying the TTR spacers won't work, just that its easy to sell a product for less when you didn't have any development costs.
essentially yes......the basic version of option a is the same as option b. option a give you more options depending on how low you want to get the car. thats the real difference....and also the time and development that went into these.

no i see your point and i will say it is nice to have the option to better fit the car with the right equipment im just saying it is the same product in the end physically.
this thread delivers on the awesome.
Rodimus, how could you not find anything on the spacers? We've been talking about them for a year, theres several pics of where they go, descriptions of what they do, and how to install them, including the proper torque specs.
They are for keeping he proper relation between the steering linkage and the multiple imiginary lines that are created by front suspension/steering part geometries.
They are "rack spacers", they get installed under the steering rack.
You remove the 2 bolts that secure the rack to the subframe, you slip the spacers in between the rack and the subframe, then you reinstall the bolts and torque them to 81ftlbs. I put red loctitie on them too, but this isnt required.
