stopping wheelhop

i was looking at getting the motor mounts to stop the wheelhop. ubt then i buddy of mine said getting a stiffer strut in the front might be better to stop the wheels from bounce, i guess mustang drivers do this and have some sort of quad strut setup to keep the wheels on the ground. what do you guys think i'm better off going with?

motor mounts, tourque braces, and a strut bar. then if you have the ss/sc get rid of the 18's and go with 16-17 and more tire.

what they said and by the way mustangs are RWD, not FWD, so wheel hop solution to them is diffrent then our solution.

Replacing the front and rear motor mounts with solid Poly-U will almost eliminate drivetrain lash on any transversly mounted front wheel drive car.

thanks guys, yeah the shop i go to is all rwd drive cars like mustangs and trans ams, there not used to cars like the cobalt. would the poly control arm bushings from jbody performance also do the job by themselves, or would i be better off getting one mount and the bushings, or all 3?

Mount .5 hours bushings 1.5-2 hours and will probably try to get you to do an alignment at the same time even though its not needed.

Control arm bushings will be the single best thing to stop the hop, the motor mount will finish up the job. The motor mount will also stop the motor from feeling like it's going to crash through the firewall on hard shifts. Tranny mounts will make your shifts feel rock solid.
