hey guys jus had a quick question r all the struts the same for all cobalt models or do the ss/sc have different ones?

 

They have different ones from the Chevy, I think there are 3 levels, base, ss, and ss/sc.

If you put SS/SC springs on a base to lower roughly an inch how would it affect the springs on the base modle?

I ask because i had a '98 Z24 lowered on Goldlines (1 3/4") and the struts blew within a week and it was unsafe to drive.

I'd like to throw on some SS/SC springs to lower it a little, not if its just going to creat a bouncy ride though.

edit- i ment to say struts on the base model, didn't read it over..
