Maven hasn't been around the site for sometime, you're better off posting up your question in a new thread.

Anyone have updated part number for OE FE5 struts?
Looks like rear FE5 shocks p/n is still GM 25793745 but the original strut p/n have been discontinued.

Looking at Crate Engine Depot, the part numbers are listed as 19181251 LH, 19181631 RH but they don't offer GM versions for sale anymore, but they have Sachs units on their site for sale left strut & right strut

Would fe5 HHR struts work for the Cobalt SS? You can still get those on Rockauto. Also Rockauto sells the Sachs rear shocks and struts for the cobalt ss

I believe they are the same. I'm 98% sure I've seen it discussed on here before.

I honestly do not remember if they do or not. I know that was some earlier discussions I wasn't super involved with. The sachs units should be fine, even the FE3/FE5 ones on rockauto under the cobalt.

Yeah when I bought my oem gm fe5 rear shocks they said sachs right on them. So I'm assuming the fe5 struts are made by sachs also. Yeah i cant remember where I saw the post either about the hhr struts being compatible with the cobalt/g5. But i'm good anyway as I was able to buy them before GM discontinued them last year. If mine blow out I'll get sachs or kyb's.
