What is your intended use?

OTTP Street and Hardcore bars are the best options.

well what do you mean intended use. Iam not looking for any severe suspension with the car. I have no intentions on coilovers, or springs..just figure I throw a rear sway bar on for a little edge on handling. Other then that all i have is a strut bar. btw i had eibach on my mind just becasue I know they are very involved in suspension

Eibach is good, but not all that impressive. Stick with the OTTP Street bar, and you'll be set.

Between the two ottp bars?

Well, the Street bar is more mild, and creates a neutral feel. The Hardcore bar is more aggressive, and adds a bit of oversteer. THe Hardcore bar is meant for autocross, and the Street bar for some twisty spirited back-roads driving.

No, not stupid, but it's intended for more aggressive use with performance springs, and super grippy tires. And difference between the Eibach and OTTP Hardcore? Eibach is 25mm and OTTP is about 31mm.

Also, the OTTP rear bar is hollow = lighter. Not sure if the Eibach is or not.

I have the street OTTP bar on my TC... and ****** LOVE IT. The change it makes to the feel of the car in the twisties is nuts.

The hardcore bar is a bit much for a DD car... unless you want it... but no there is nothing wrong with buying it but if you don't need it you don't need it

The OTT bars were designed by the man who built the Time Attack car for GM. If we don't listen to him, who else?

solid doesn't make it better. The metal furthest from the center does most of the work, so hollow, being lighter, makes solid obsolete.

honestly the hardcore bar is that...if you arent going to race on a track or some serious autox I wouldnt recommend it. I have it and did a autox and some street stuff...if you are an inexperienced driver you will whip a 180 easy. The street bar is the perfect solution for a DD or anyone that just wants better handling, honestly.

I have the street bar and I love it. I am probably going to get the hardcore bar as well for track use.

Not just that but you also need to look at the metal composition, ottp and eibach are chromoly, ttr is mild steel.

Why did you take your stock bar off? You do realize your stock front bar is better than eibach right?

ottp street bar is good for your daily driver that will increase handeling.

ottp hardcore bar is fine for driving but it does cause some over steer. their are ways to fix that though. running stiffer springs in the front, running so positive caster(not camber), lower tire pressure(when your racing) etc. regardless of your bar choice you always want the car feeling as tight as possible but to have nuetral feeling from both the front and back end.

I have never driven a car with the eibach front bar but most have said it causes the car to understeer worse than stock. It seems like most that race their cars that have tried the eibach front bar have promptly taken it off because of the self steer and understeer they have experienced. Self steer is when the car is unevenly loaded from side to side and the steering wheel turns on its own.

I have an 06 sc cobalt and I got a deal on the eibach front and rear sway bars. I was planning on putting sportlines on with it. Should I not install the front sway bar, is the stock one stiffer?
